We’ve been allergy free for a while now, but when we went to the Brookfield zoo recently I knew that would be the ultimate ragweed test for us!
The allergy heatmap showed extremely high (deep into the red zone!)

And we were outside for over 3 hours.
In the past, within only minutes we would have been had red itchy eyes, inflamed lungs and sneezy sinuses.
Not anymore!
Bug bite welts 5x larger than normal that last for weeks are also no longer an issue for my daughter 🤍

Also in the video is my “dust mite PSA” that explains how air purifiers do not fully capture their allergens which are below 0.3 microns

How we turned off Allergies with Peptides
In simplified terms:
Allergies aren’t “you vs. pollen.”
They’re “you vs. an overreactive system” always on alert.
- For easily triggered mast cells:
- KPV peptide signals “stand down,” reducing histamine surges and inflammatory cytokines so sinuses, skin and lungs stop overreacting.
- Any leaky barriers raise alarms:
- When gut or sinus barriers leak, small irritants become big threats. Larazotidetightens the gate while KPV calms the fire.
- Biofilms keep you reacting:
- Low-grade microbes and fungal/bacterial biofilms in sinuses/skin keep inflammation simmering.
- KPV penetrates biofilms and lowers microbial load, so ragweed, mold on leaves, and other outdoor and indoor triggers land on a calmer surface.
- Energy steadies the response:
- NAD+ restores cellular energy and reduces neuro‑immune overreactivity, helping mast cells stay calmer so exposures don’t become flares.
- Lasting change:
- Short-term signals bring relief but with repetition, cells “remember” better patterns, so you need fewer peptides over time.
A Bit Deeper:
KPV
Mast‑cell calm plus trigger control
- What it does: stabilizes mast cells, turns down cytokines / inflammation, and clears yeast & bacteria – works through biofilms. Sinuses, lungs, skin, (and food reactions) can all settle together.
- What people feel: easier breathing and calmer sinuses. For me: 2 weeks for asthma, 4 weeks for allergies (I learned about / added Larazotide at 2 week mark), complete relief ongoing with continued maintence dosing.
- How to use: microdose up to five times a day at the start. Small, frequent amounts work best because signaling only lasts a few hours.
- Over time, the effects hold longer as gene‑level changes build. See my KPV post for essential information about this incredible peptide!

Larazotide (LA)
Tightens the barrier so reactions don’t keep firing
- What it does: closes gut tight junctions so antigens and die‑off don’t leak and trigger flares.
- How to pair: use about 1/4 of a capsule alongside KPV. See my Larazotide post for more details. This one only works while you’re using it – for about 2 to 3 hours after dosing.

NAD+
Energy for calmer mast cells and faster recovery
- What it does: This small molecule restores cellular energy, supports DNA repair, and calms neuro‑immune overreactivity so mast cells aren’t trigger‑happy and recovery from exposures is faster.
- Why it matters for allergies: when cells aren’t running on empty, your system calms
- Fewer flares, steadier lungs/sinuses, clearer head, and better stamina with allergen exposure
- How it helps mast cells: supports sirtuin pathways that turn down inflammatory gene signaling, improves cellular stress handling, and steadies immune cell regulation so mast cells dump less histamine when encountering triggers
- Supports mitochondrial resilience and redox balance that mast cells use to decide whether to degranulate.
- How to use with KPV: sublingual spray – small dose 1x daily; tiny amount is very effective. See NAD+ for the WIN! (MCAS)
- I was using NAD+ successfully prior to starting KPV & LA and I continue to maintenance dose

Important dosing notes
- Success comes from tiny amounts and frequency, not large single doses.
- For KPV – initially frequent small doses are key! After a few weeks, you can space out dosing as the longer‑lasting gene‑level effects take hold.
- Please read the KPV, Larazotide, and NAD+ posts linked above for important microdosing details on each.
Example of what you will find at posts:

Why aren’t more people using these?
- Big business: antihistamines, sprays, shots are profitable
- Awareness gap: peptides are outside standard allergy playbooks
You can get your life back!
KPV, LA, & NAD+ protect us from:
Ragweed, grasses, tree pollens and any pollen, mold (as allergens – can still be toxic), dust mites and animal dander that used to piggyback on seasonal sinus inflammation, chemical / fragrance allergens (also still can be toxic) plus my daughters bug-bite welts.
That’s a lot of punch from tiny peptides!
