Healing with Peptides – Autism, PANS, ADHD, Allergies, Asthma & Autoimmunity

Peptides are gaining popularity – rapidly!

People are experiencing remarkable benefits, often eclipsing those achieved with other supplements and medicines.

So while we’ll always need healthy diets & vitamins, some traditional health treatments are no longer the most effective option.

What does this mean for our kids?

A lot! We can help their cognitive development in ways we couldn’t before.

Words come easier, language builds faster and motor skills expand.

We can close tight junctions in their guts and treat yeast and bacteria overgrowth.

Allergic and mast cell reactions can be virtually eliminated.

Tissue damage from toxin exposure can be healed.

Decreasing social anxiety, improving stress response, and achieving many other gains – are all possible with peptides.

In this post, we discuss how to best use these essential new tools in a way that is safe for sensitive and smaller people.

Before embracing peptides, we were leaving so many healing opportunities out of our toolbox.

More of my daughters story is below, but first, a look at what we’re going to review.

Peptides 101

Peptides are small chains of amino acids held together by peptide bonds.
They are the building blocks of proteins.

Peptides are messengers to our cells.

These influencers – long before social media – bind to receptors on our cells instructing them how to carry out bodily processes.

Each peptide’s message is determined by its specific sequence of amino acids.

They can regulate hormone release, cell growth, tissue repair, skin regeneration, blood sugar control, immune response, and much more.

Bioregulator Peptides are even smaller chains and I’ll explain their unique features in the bioregulator section

You can use peptides individually and studies consistently show they can work even better used in combination – to support an entire body system.

For more on Peptides 101 see here:

Our Experience

My daughter escaped a recent virus without a post viral PANS flare for the first time in her life.

She’s speaking more clearly, has greater cognition and word retrieval, less anxiety, is calmer and happier!

Physically, she has improved in both small and gross motor skills! Running faster, jumping higher! She’s even doing more complex gymnastic and yoga poses 🧘🏼‍♀️

Her mast cells have quieted and she no longer gets red heat rashes or bug bite welts.

Peptides have given us larger health gains than anything else – and if you’ve followed us for a while, you know that includes a lot!

From earlier days of our blog 🤍

Special Considerations for Sensitive & Smaller people

Before we get to the list, I’d like to highlight some tips we have to make peptide use most successful if you’re sensitive, like us!

Also, please know, peptides are given to children by many doctors but I cannot specifically advise others what to use or what age range is safe.

  • Always begin with smaller doses.
    • Peptides can be very potent and even a small amount can work well.
    • We like to start with very tiny doses, as small as 1/6 cap (1/10th for KPV) and adjust upward.
  • You can use the powder sublingually – some bioregulators are available as liquid drops.
  • Time of Day – brain peptides should only be taken in the morning. We typically try to take most peptides earlier in the day, unless they are for sleep.
  • Die off – The only peptide that may result in die off symptoms is KPV. Read more in the KPV blog post.
  • People with gene mutations – peptides may be especially beneficial and safe for use with MTHFR or other gene mutations
  • Peptides are safe to use alongside almost any supplement or medicine and they can be combined with one another – always verify if concerned
  • It’s ok to go slow!

Continual use vs. Pulsing vs. Longer Breaks

Peptides and bioregulators get to work immediately – many of them bringing changes shortly after taking the first dose.

To see effects involving healing of tissues or organs will take longer of course!

You can take them as long as needed and take breaks as needed too.

•••

Some people use pulse dosing others do not.

1. Examples of pulsing options:

  • 4 weeks on – then 10 days per month on / 20 days off
  • 4 weeks on – several months off
  • 5 days on / 2 days off
  • 3 days on / 1 day off

2. No Pulse option:

  • Smaller amounts (a portion of the capsule) with no scheduled breaks
  • Breaks be taken anytime and restart if needed
  • Can be better for sensitive people

We use the second method (small amounts continuous until we want a break) for all of them —

— except the brain peptides / bioregulators which can become too stimulating even at low doses if you never pause.

Opening capsules and taking fractions of them is not difficult and doses don’t need to be exact.

For more peptide dosing tips and signaling duration, see our video:

Signaling Duration

Most peptides do not last long in the body. It’s always better to use more frequent dosing when getting started.

After a few weeks, you can use them less frequently.

*exception for those that are time of day specific such as CogniPep – only to be taken in the morning

1. KPV – Mast cells, inflammation, yeast, bacteria

The first peptide we tried was a home run!

I read about it as an option to calm mast cells if nothing else worked.

While I would argue it should be tried first, I’m thankful it opened my eyes to the world of peptides!

For us, KPV alone:

  • Calmed mast cells (rashes, food intolerance, asthma and allergies – gone)
  • Decreased inflammation, yeast, bloating, SIBO
  • Cured every fungal and bacterial skin condition / rash – including hormonal acne

It’s even been effective in helping my daughter avoid a PANS flare.

You can easily see why it’s become a staple in our home!

Her dose: has changed over time – ranging from a micro dose every few hours, up to 1 full capsule divided throughout the day (too much) and back down to a maintenance daily micro dose.

It works very quickly so if you see nothing the first day, adjust your dose upward.

•••

Many more essential details and dosing discussion are in our KPV blog post. Please read it if you’re going to take this one!

How the KPV peptide calmed our mast cells, GI tract, and inflammation

Also more on using it for PANS is in our video and post here:

Here’s the PANS blog post with referenced

PDF protocol

www.recoveringkids.com/pans

And here’s a example of other parent comments:

From our Peptide Chat group re: KPV

(The second peptide we tried, Larazotide Acetate, pairs well with KPV. It closes tight junctions in the gut and you will find it at #9 below)

2. TB4 Frag – Healing damaged tissues

We began using TB4 Frag to promote gut healing.

We use it now when we have wounds – bug bites, bruises, scrapes, cuts and more!

It can activate Stem cells and create blood vessels in areas that need improved blood flow.

Tip: Pair with CogniPep (increases oxygen / blood flow to the brain) for “HBOT in a bottle”

Healing from toxin exposure is also significantly quicker and more complete with TB4 Frag onboard.

It’s very effective at clearing damaged tissue and can repair damage from toxins you’ve been exposed to, even in the past.

Let’s take a pause to imagine the healing possibilities!

It’s so transformative, studies have shown it can reverse damage from a heart attack.

Thymosin B(4) frag is a very small amino acid chain that plays an important role in protection, regeneration, and remodeling of injured or damaged tissues.

Our Dose: Less than 1/4 capsule up to 2-3x per day

I’m always careful with immune modulating peptides, but we have had no issues. It seems to be truly modulating, not “booting”

See also: https://diaryofrecovery.com/tb4info

Also available:

TB4 Frag Oral Spray – which could also work well sprayed on skin in need of healing (we used KPV Spray topically with great success!)

3. Thymogen Alpha 1 – Thymus gland / immune system

Our thymus controls T cells, critical for fighting infections and foreign substances by recognizing and attacking them.

Recently, when we both had a cold virus, I gave this peptide a try.

It was the first time in my daughters life that she did not have a post viral PANS flare!

We were using both KPV and a small amount of Thymogen and if you’re also a PANS parent you know this was a major achievement!

Balance in the Immune System

Thymic peptides, while modulating, are generally known to promote a shift toward a stronger Th1 immune response.

This shift is important if you need to fight a virus or have Th2 dominance.

However, sometimes people lean toward a Th1 dominant immune response and I suspect we do.

We have always felt worse when taking thymic proteins and peptides (in the absence of an acute viral condition).

We can successfully take Thymogen when we need immune activation to fight a virus

If you need a shift toward Th2, you can consider the VIP mentioned here

Our Dose (when sick): 1/4 cap 3x a day

We stopped taking TA 1 when we were about 3/4 of the way back to healthy.

It did not flare other symptoms and we had no post viral conditions – a huge win!

4. CerebroPep – Subcortical Brain / Central Nervous System

This brain peptide – aka oral Cerebrolysin – really delivers!

From Integrative Peptides:

“A special formulation of porcine derived peptide blend brings the highest standard in quality and safety to support cognitive health and well-being.

Similar to other porcine neuro peptides such as Cerebrolysin, which is administered through injection, CerebroPep™ marks the entrance of Integrative Peptides into the neuro and cognitive space without a needle.”

A new version, Cognipep (below) contains the same brain peptides plus additional blood vessel peptides to enhance reach into the brain.

Please read both sections because the CNS specific peptides are the same and I didn’t duplicate info.

If you’re in the Facebook Chat Group, you may have read my post about Cerebropep:

Our Dose: 1/4 cap (or less) in the morning

I usually cycle this one – Approximately 5 days on, 2 days off

Sometimes we see even greater improvements on the days off – I imagine because the brain is not actively in repair mode and has time to shine!

As with other brain supplements (eg. nootropics or choline) it should not be taken too late in the day

We have replaced it with CogniPep (#5) but if you already purchased CerebroPep, you can add 1/4 cap of a blood vessel bioregulator at the same time you take it. See below for Blood Vessel Bioregulators

5. CogniPep – Subcortical brain + blood vessel peptides

This peptide is responsible for helping my daughter advance in all areas especially including: expressive language, motor planning and comprehension.

The combination of brain and vascular peptides is a winning one.

If you haven’t read the CerebroPep section directly above, I suggest starting there because the brain portion of this peptide is the same

Cerebropep vs. CogniPep?

For me, CerebroPep’s benefits seemed very slightly splintered while CogniPep feels all encompassing.

Every function of my brain was noticeably and simultaneously improved.

Most likely:

• The added vascular bioregulator in CogniPep allows the peptides to travel deeper into the brain

• There may have been areas CerebroPep was not quite reaching

My daughter is having incredible cognitive gains as well. She’s speaking with words I have never heard her use and is very focused, centered and her happiest self!

She’s also more physically active, running faster and doing new complex yoga positions!

Her Dose: less than 1/4 cap in the morning — approx ~ 1/6 cap.

You can use more initially, we are on a maintenance dose. Just give less if you think it appears too stimulating.

We like to take short breaks from this one.

Sometimes 3-4 days on and 2 days off but it varies.

Watching for any overstimulation with this one is key.

It is possible to have your brain feel slightly sluggish as it’s repairing and then noticeably better on the days off, everyone reacts differently.

As I mentioned in the CerebroPep section, we don’t use brain supplements later in the day because they can interfere with sleep.

Subcortical brain structures CogniPep can help optimize:

  • Basal Ganglia – motor control, movement
  • Hippocampus – memory, learning (including emotions & smells)
  • Thalamus – consciousness, sleep, learning and language processing
  • Amygdala – emotion processing
  • Pituitary – hormone production & stress response
  • White matter – neural networks for rapid transmission of signals between brain regions

I cannot more highly recommend this peptide.

New: CogniPep for Autism post:

I see no side effects and we have been taking it about a month.

Others I’ve talked to are experiencing the same benefits. For example this comment is from a group member after 1 week of using 1/4 cap CogniPep each day in the am:

It definitely sets the bar high for any other brain peptide!

When we started Pinealon, I was very impressed 🤓

When we switched to CerebroPep, I was even more impressed 🧐

When we switched to CogniPep, I was thoroughly stunned 🤯

6. KPV Spray

I originally didn’t purchase this spray because I wanted to microdose and it would be more difficult than with capsules.

However, we found a great use for it! It works amazingly well topically for skin irritations – bug bites, scalp issues (most are fungal related).

Recently, during a cold, we had very painful sinuses and it seemed an infection could be looking.

I decided to spray it in my palm and dab it with a fingertip on the skin over our sinuses – upper cheeks & under the eyes.

Not only did no sinus infection occur, but I realized that KPV works transdermally in the same way that small doses of the capsules work!

I’m a big fan of this spray and plan to keep it as a staple in my medicine cabinet.

Thyroid and other peptides

Integrative Peptides (and all brands in this post) have additional peptides to the ones we have tried.

For this post, I concentrated on peptides most beneficial to my daughter and children.

As mentioned in the contents section there is another post that has a review of all 41 peptides we have tried.

It includes peptides more typically for adult use – thyroid, pineal gland (longevity and circadian rhythm), fat cell metabolism, improved energy, skin elasticity and much more.

You can read it here.

(Note: we do NOT use BPC-157 because we are not comfortable with the side effect profile if you’re interested in hearing more about that you can check out the post above.)

No cap.

Acetylated and Amidated is key!

Integrative Peptides products consistently seem to deliver more benefit than other brands, even at the smallest doses.

One reason is because their peptides are acetylated and amidated aka “capped.”

The capping makes them more bioavailable and resistant to our enzymes breaking them down.

They also more closely match the natural peptides our bodies produce.

“N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal amidation also promote the stabilization of the secondary structure of the peptide..

allowing a deeper interaction with the phospholipid cellular membrane, favoring peptide uptake and
biological activity.”

-Dr. Holthorf, Integrative Peptides Founder

Biolab

Coupon at Biolab
RESTORE will give you a discount

Ordering from Biolab (overseas) can be a trying experience.

Credit cards can be declined, connecting with customer service can be challenging and I feel terrible anytime someone has issues.

However, when you can get them, they are very good quality and well priced (even including the costly shipping).

Another positive – Their nasal sprays are prepared with saline rather than water (Limitless) which is much more soothing to use!

We have a Peptide FAQ detailing how people have used PayPal when their credit card was declined.

You can purchase many of the same peptides from Limitless in the USA (section below) they tend to cost a bit more.

9. Larazotide Acetate – gut tight junctions

This narrowly directed peptide is excellent for closing the tight junctions in the gut and throughout the body, including the brain.

It’s very useful to prevent die off – from using KPV or any type of antimicrobial or detox – from escaping the gut and re-entering your body.

Dose: 1/4 capsule 3x a day (before meals)

It has no taste so it’s easy to use sublingually, avoiding the brightly colored capsules 😬

It only works while you’re taking it (it is not designed to heal just to close the tight junctions)

We stopped taking it for a while but started again – we feel better with it!

It’s available also from Limitless (USA) for a higher price, see below.

If you’re interested, here’s my post for much more info: Larazotide acetate – This tight junction regulator closed our “leaky guts”

10.  Oxytocin – nasal spray

This spray very noticeably decreases my daughters social anxiety.

It’s remarkable when used as needed – if used daily, anecdotally it won’t work as well overall.

It’s well studied and often used in the autism community and I like having it on hand for my daughter prior to social activities.

Limitless (USA) also sells Oxytocin (here) / often out of stock

Coupon Code: QUALITY for 20% off

Benefits of Oxytocin:

Enhances social bonding: Promotes trust and emotional connection in relationships.

Reduces social anxiety: Can ease stress in social situations

Improves emotional recognition: Could help individuals with autism better interpret social cues and emotions.

Supports stress regulation: Lowers cortisol, aiding relaxation in social interactions for those with social challenges.

Her Dose: 1 spray, 30 minutes before effect is desired. (Not more than once a day)

I’ve read studies that show that this is best to use on an as needed basis, not daily if possible because it will work better.

When you order a nasal spray, you will receive everything needed to reconstitute them and instructions

If you’d like more help, here’s a Reconstitution video: https://diaryofrecovery.com/mix

11. P21 – nasal spray

P21 is a synthetic version of one component of Cerebrolysin (brain peptide).

There have been some remarkable gains reported when using this with children who have autism (search our group for some reports).

I gave it to my daughter and didn’t notice a difference… BUT she was already taking CogniPep (above) which is more than one component of Cerebrolysin plus vessel bioregulators – making it inclusive of P21 and more comprehensive.

I believe P21 can deliver a brain boost on its own, but we did not see additional improvements over CogniPep.

Nasal Sprays – PRO / CON

• I prefer capsules whenever possible because you can much more easily adjust the dose – down or up.

If one spray is too much, you would need to dilute the bottle

• A benefit of sprays is delivery of the peptides very close to the brain.

You can see from the description that P21’s benefits are similar to other brain peptides.

The only side effect we saw was drowsiness for about 30 minutes after dosing which is indicated as a possible side effect.

Worth trying if you like nasal sprays and aren’t taking any other form of Cerebrolysin.

12. Selank – anti anxiety, nasal spray

Selank spray is very calming to my daughter. It significantly decreases both anxiety and fixation on ideas.

I’m often surprised at how well and how quickly (5-10 minutes) it works!

If I am awake in the night and can’t sleep, it stops my restless mind and I can easily fall back asleep. (It does not itself cause drowsiness)

We made a video with a deeper dive into Selank and you can watch it here:

Research indicates Selank can:

  • Reduce anxiety without sedation
  • Affect the binding of GABA to its receptors
  • Modulate the balance of dopamine and serotonin, promoting a sense calm and of well-being
  • Alter the expression of genes involved in stress response pathways, improving ability to manage stress
  • Positively influence brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein linked to cognitive health.
  • Some evidence of immune-supporting and anti-inflammatory properties

Her Dose: 1 spray morning or evening (or both!) – it can be used anytime of day. It works rapidly (under 10 minutes).

Some use it 2-3x per day

•••

Limitless sells Selank and Semax and we use their brand because it is also amidated. (see #13 below)

As discussed in the “No Cap” section above, the Acetylated and Amidated version works better than standard Selank.

The addition of an acetyl group and an amide group enhances its stability and bioavailability compared to standard Selank.

The newest version is called Adelank. I haven’t tried this one but plan to soon!

Storage of peptides prior to reconstitution

You may wonder what to do with the tiny glass bottles of powder for the nasal sprays if you’re not using them immediately.

I used to keep mine in the freezer, now companies say room temp. (Capsules of course can be kept at room temperature unless they say otherwise which is rare)

• Biolab instructs to store vials at 32-40 degrees

• Limitless instructed to freeze them and now says room temp

Clearly anything is fine!

After reconstitution, all liquid peptides need to be stored in the refrigerator.

13. N-Acetyl-Selank Amidate, nasal spray

Semax and Selank might be the most remixed peptides of all time 📻

Each one promising to be better than the last.

For us, this version works better than any other Selank (this includes compounded versions because they are not acetylated or Amidated).

Bioregulators – Peptides à la carte!

Bioregulator peptides help optimize performance of organs of your choice and may be taken together.

These ultra-short peptides are small enough to enter the cell nucleus, interact with the DNA, and instruct our genes.

They stimulate the expression of youthful genes and suppress the expression of illness-associated genes.

The result is a rejuvenation and restoration at a cellular level in specific tissues, glands, and organs – and widespread health benefits!

“Peptide bioregulators have rapidly gained
recognition in scientific circles.. They are often described as the future of medicine due to their unique ability to interact with our DNA and fine-tune cellular processes.

Unlike typical medicines, they don’t just treat symptoms; they engage with the root of health issues – our cells and genetic code.” –Khavinson

Because of their limited action, they can be taken with confidence that you’re not “doing it wrong” or will react negatively.

They simply allow our body to reach its optimal state of function.

Accordingly, their effectiveness is limited to our personal best.

For example, I haven’t become Einstein, but I do feel my brain is working as well as it ever has in my life

Some say to expect around a 30% improvement.

I say, let’s all find out what our best is!

•••

Note: you do not need to start with a tiny microdose for these, 1/6 cap should be tolerated fine for everyone to start, more if desired.

We have a new bioregulator, peptide post and video!

VitaStream or Nature’s Marvels at Integrative Peptides

In this photo, see my highlighted labels for the corresponding organs:

I have purchased more bioregulators than I should probably admit. 🙈

In my defense, who doesn’t want ALL of their organs to function optimally?!

To save others from starting their own peptide warehouse, I’ll let you know which ones we like the best.

We generally use only a portion of the capsules (not “full” doses) and our dosage is indicated for each.

Natural or synthetic?

I was originally overly invested in which was superior.

They are both effective and a positive about synthetics is the lack of taste.

Some of them don’t come in a synthetic option.

Focusing on which peptide best suits your health need is more important.

If you need to avoid porcine, synthetic will be the option for you!

Lingual or capsules?

Sublingual peptides are absorbed directly through the mucous membrane of the mouth, which promotes faster penetration of peptides and accelerates their action.

At VitaStream, bioregulators are sold as either liquid (sublingual) or capsules. We have tried both.

The linguals must be kept refrigerated.

We find that the capsules, with the powder used sublingually or as part of a larger capsule you makeare the best value and convienence.

Combo or Individual?

VitaStream offers combo products that contain 3 peptides in one capsule. Most of them contain thymus peptides so we haven’t tried many.

Some contain lactose – if you need to avoid, be sure to check labels.

Master Chart of Bioregulators

This helpful list is handy but I don’t think you need as many as it may seem, so read on for thoughts about which ones are essential!

Which Brand to choose?

Khavinson peptides (VitaStream) and Natures Marvels (NM) are interchangeable.

NM is sold through Integrative Peptides are and they offer quantity discounts but no coupons.

I will link them with an “NM” at the end of each description.

The links I’m giving are to the specific products I use, you can search VitaStream for lingual or combo products.

If any are sold out you can also try finding them at QI Supplements.

15. Lungs – Taxorest & Chonluten

Our journey with bioregulators began when Dr. Holthorf suggested Taxorest for asthma. While KPV was keeping it under control, I wanted to take a break from KPV.

Taxorest is the naturally derived peptide.

I switched to Chonluten, synthetic because it seems to work faster and it has no taste.

My Dose: I took about 1/5 of a capsule under the tongue several times a day for approximately 6 months.

I still take a microdose once a day.

Recently, I added it to my daughter’s stack because she was coughing after being sick. It helped!

In reference to the 30% improvement estimate, I feel this peptide delivered exactly that.

Not only are my lungs asthma free, they have a capacity I did not know was possible – I understand now how people can sing!

For Asthma:

The combination of both KPV and a Lung bioregulator will be best for someone just starting to treat asthma.

After a few months I was able to switch to just the bioregulator and then take breaks from that too.

“Supports lung function by regulating bronchial mucosa and improving metabolism. Ideal for those with chronic bronchitis, asthma, and pulmonary disease. May aid recovery from chronic heart failure when combined with the Heart and Blood Vessel Bioregulator.” NM Lungs

16. Blood Vessels – Ventfort / Vesugen

(Natural / Synthetic versions)

I mentioned the importance of Vessel Bioregulators in the CogniPep section.

These pair well with and enhance the function of all other peptides and bioregulators.

Because they can help more blood reach the brain, they can be cortical for brain health.

They have helped my daughters cognition and I consider them critical for ending my lightheadedness and dizziness – more about increasing blood flow to the brain is in the bone marrow section below.

They can help increase blood flow to other organs as well, of course!

Our Dose: 1/4 cap Ventfort 1-3x per day

“Supports blood cell function by promoting vascular wall health and regulating metabolism. They help manage cholesterol and lipoproteins, reducing the risk of vascular issues.” NM Blood vessel

17. Central Nervous system – Cerluten / Pinealon

These are respectively natural and synthetic Central Nervous system bioregulators.

New! Post & Video outlining all Brain peptide options:

Pinealon has been more extensively researched so we will center the discussion on it. Being synthetic, it isn’t porcine derived so if that’s on your radar, it’s a good choice.

It is not a Pineal Gland bioregulator – it’s name has led to the confusion of many people!

It is a component of CerebroPep and CogniPep (above) so if you’re taking either of those you don’t need to double up.

Pinealon’s neuroprotective properties are well supported. From this review of research literature you can find links to many studies.

It’s known to:

  • Activate gene expression involved in maintaining neuronal functional activity
  • Normalize behavioral responses and improve memory issues.
  • Prevent the loss of neuronal dendritic spikes in Alzheimer’s
When searching for scientific studies, Pinealon is also referred to as EDR peptide (Glu-Asp-Arg)
  • Reduce excitotoxicity
  • Diminish mitochondrial dysfunction
  • Inhibit the activation of extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, thus increasing the viability of the neurovascular unit in the brain

• In 72 patients with traumatic brain injury, it led to improved memory, reduced duration and intensity of headaches, emotional balance, and enhanced test performance.

*Tip: If you have either of these brain peptides you can pair them with an above blood vessel regulator to help them reach further into the brain!

18. Stomach – Stamakort

As a person with lifelong IBS and on my break from KPV, I thought this would be a good one to try next.

I like it! I can’t say that we “noticed” anything other than our stomachs feeling better.

Our Dose: 1/4 cap per day in the morning

I used to take 1/4 cap before every meal (combined with Pancreas).

“Supports stomach health by normalizing digestion and helping prevent gastric ulcers, polyps, heartburn, belching, and a heavy stomach feeling.” NM Stomach

19. Pancreas – Suprefort

We take this one because it combines well with Stomach and Liver and we take both of those.

Our Dose: 1/4 cap per day – morning

Helps regulate pancreatic enzyme activity, potentially lowering blood sugar in diabetes and supporting pancreatic tissue recovery. NM Pancreas

20. Liver – Ovagen

Struggling to detox is not unusual for my daughter and at times her skin will be very slightly yellow-ish.

Ovagen, combined with the kidney bioregulator (below) visibly helped her detox and she was back to normal color about 2 days!

Our Dose: 1/4 cap per day

It also helps with hepatitis, fatigue, and digestive issues. It may benefit those with atherosclerosis, diabetes, and obesity. NM Liver

Combining stomach, pancreas and liver can provide more comprehensive GI support.

21. Kidney – Pielotax

This one is also great for detox!

The kidney removes toxins and waste, maintains electrolyte and fluid balance. Important for people with POTS.

Our kidneys also produce hormones that regulate blood pressure and control the production of red blood cells.

I take it in combination with other peptides to help my blood production and eliminate my dizziness. (See bone marrow below)

Our Dose: 1/4 cap per day in the morning

Also helps lower uric acid and urea levels and manage more severe kidney conditions. NM Kidney

22. Bone Marrow – Bonomarlot

I believe this is essential for helping increase blood volume so more can reach the brain.

We were already was taking spatone liquid iron and 1/2 cap blood vessel bioregulator. (These were not enough)

We added:

• 1/4 cap bone marrow bioregulator

• 1/4 cap kidney bioregulator

• 5mg Vinpocetene (in morning – to increase blood flow to the brain).

The combination worked! For my daughter, her cognition improved slightly (this was prior to using CogniPep).

For me, I no longer have any lightheaded or dizzy feelings, which almost feels like a miracle considering how frustrating it was for more than a decade.

“This bioregulator helps balance bone marrow function, benefiting individuals with excess red blood cells or anemia. It supports bone marrow regeneration, boosts red blood cell production, and promotes a healthy hematopoietic system.” NM Bone Marrow

A note on VitaPep from VitaStream

Adrenact and Endocron (below) are from VitaStream’s new VitaPep line.

They contain the same peptides as the Khavinson line but a larger active amount per capsule and larger quantity per bottle. They are packaged and lab tested in the USA.

If you want to trial a peptide, I recommend buying the original line (in boxes / blister packs) – they’re available in smaller quantities

You can use the same coupon “BIOREG10” for them at VitaStream and they have free shipping

23. Adrenals – GlandokortAdrenact

Overwhelm and emotional lability are signs our adrenals need some care.

This bioregulator is an excellent choice if you’re exhausted, unmotivated or battling any illness.

For children, adrenal fatigue typically presents as crying (sadness for no reason) and/or meltdowns, often in the afternoon.

If adrenals are in serious need of help you could also add the glandular adrenal cortex extract.

It could be very useful for anyone doing Andy Cutler Chelation for their kids or selves.

“Supports adrenal gland function, helping to balance stress hormones like cortisol, adrenaline, and noradrenaline, which may improve energy, stress levels, and metabolic health. It may also aid the endocrine system, especially in older adults.” NM Adrenal

24. Pituitary – Endocron

One of my most favorite peptides! Despite the name, it is not related to endoluten or the pineal gland.

The pituitary is a small but powerful gland at the base of the brain, regulating many critical body functions, including metabolism, growth, and the reproductive system.

It has helped my daughter with overall response to stress.

This peptide could be one to be careful with for a child who has not reached puberty.

I started taking it when I wanted to try a break from KPV and was concerned about how my mast cells might react.

Choosing endocron as a possible stand-in was based on a theory that the HPA axis (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) can regulate allergic inflammation.

My daughter and I both take:

Endocron – 3/4 cap total, spread through the day

Adrenact – 1/4 cap in morning only

Hypothalamus glandular – 1/2 cap per day morning only

I will be switching to the VitaPep Hypothalumus peptide as soon as it is released.

This combination definitely seems to work to keep my allergies extremely low ~ not as effectively as KPV (which for me results in total elimination) but surprisingly well!

It could have a positive imact for anyone with suspected HPA dysfunction.

Causes of HPA axis dysfunction could result from genetics, medications, early-life environment (childhood trauma), and current life stressors.

“Some of the general symptoms of HPA dysfunction include:

  • Feeling irritable
  • Frequent illnesses
  • Difficulty coping with stress
  • Feeling unexplainable tiredness
  • Feeling overwhelmed
  • Experiencing an exaggerated response to stress” (Source

In other words. We could all have this!

We’ve seen improvement in every item on the list while taking these peptides.

Endocron is designed support:

• the endorcine system • healthy metabolism • sleep patterns • mood • cognitive functions • a healthy response to stress •

Any tips for organizing / taking multiple peptides?

The method I’ve found easiest is to keep a small quantity of capsules out of their original bottles.

To fill one larger empty capsule, I use a capsule holder and pour in the desired amount of each peptide.

For peptides as needed or carrying through the day

• Use a small pill container.

• Open the appropriate capsule and sprinkle a little under the tongue.

Using many different bioregulators and peptides isn’t difficult if you find a system that works for you!

All of them can be combined except there are instructions not to take adrenal and pineal – endoluten / epithalon (circadian rhythm) peptides together.

This makes sense! I do take them on the same day (am/pm) but not “together.”

  1. Thanks for all of this information.

Once you open the capsule to give the microdose, is it re-sealable or what do you do with the left overs for the following dose?

I’m desperately trying to heal my son’s gut. Gut disbiosis, SIBO, low diversity.

Any adivce, or help is greatly appreciated!
